Hand Carved Polish Eagle With Forest Bird
This is a Tatra Mountain hand carved wooden Polish Eagle. It is a collectors piece suitable for an executive gift or trophy. You can have it packed in either a special hand carved wooden or a composition presentation box.
The artist carves to general patterns, but each rendition of the Polish Eagle is unique. The carvings do not vary that much, but because each is made by hand, the wood carver naturally does not make every cut the same on each White Eagle. So there are variations.
The Polish White Eagle is actually brown to look at. On the Polish crest it is shown white. In real life, it has white on its tail.
Here is a picture of a live Polish White Eagle on the arm of ShopPoland owner Katarzyna Swiatek. It is a big bird and very beautiful to watch in flight. This picture was taken at a Chamber of Commerce function at which a group had a display showing wildlife in Poland.
Each piece takes about three full days of non-stop carving to complete. So production is very limited since the artist stops to take breaks and do other work. In effect, these eagles are made on special order. We try to keep one or two in stock, but for the most part, they sell fairly quickly and have to be ordered again.
