Distributor Information And How To Become A Distributor

Distributor - A distributor is one who makes a market in something. A distributor can either the sell products in large quantities at wholesale prices, or in small quantities, at retail prices.

Retailer or Retail Distributor - A retailer is a person or business that sells products to the end user or consumer.

A retailer gets his products from either a wholesaler or directly from the factory. For a retailer to get products from a factory, the retailer must meet at least the factory minimums and comply with other distribution limitations that are set by the factory. In some cases factories have exclusive distribution agreements with certain wholesalers and retailers must purchase through these wholesalers.
