Amber Distribution - Examples

This series of pictures shows an amber shop that specializes in selling high-quality Mazovian amber and amber and silver jewelry. The individual case that is shown below is one of the most attractive pieces in the shop and is a centerpiece to bring people into the shop. The cases result in a high turnover of product in the cases but they also bring people into the shop and the people buy from the other cases as the browse everything that is in the shop.
The shop has a collection of high-end products including amber trees, amber Tiffany lamps, and high and bracelets pendants and earings.
The shop is not only used for retail. The woman who runs a shop also use it to solicit dealers and supplies product on a wholesale basis to other retailers. She carries a large inventory and small retailers can come to her and by enough amber for their own shop directly from her. She has built a large trade because many people want to see the amber prior to paying for it.
This is a case in this very active amber jewelry shop. It is simple and very effective. It is wood construction, glass sliding doors, and has a wooden back with a white burlap cover into which pins are stuck to hold the amber.
Shown below this is a board of Mazovian Brand amber that is displayed in the entranceway to shop. In the two pictures you see the board itself which is nothing more than a cork board covered with a white linen tablecloth on which Mazovian Brand amber is attached with straight pins.
The second picture is a close-up of that board that shows you better what amber is on that board.
If you have a small shop, a mall kiosk, or any other place where you can display a board like this it might make sense for you to have one for a couple reasons. First the board is very attractive and it will bring people into your shop or up to your kiosk where they will look at your entire product selection. Secondly the amber products on the board are very attractive and a result and a very good turnover.
The total investment in this board itself is very low. And the wholesale cost of the amber on this board can be as little as 300 to $400, depending on the selection.
